Croatian Telecom, Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, following today's session of the Supervisory Board announces the changes to the Management Board. Kostas Nebis, President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Croatian Telecom has resigned effective 1 July 2024 and will continue his career within Deutsche Telekom Group, taking over the role of Chairman and CEO of OTE Group in Greece. Nataša Rapaić has been appointed President of the Management Board (CEO) of Croatian Telecom effective 1 July 2024.

(Reuters: HT.ZA; Bloomberg: HT CZ), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, continues with its operating model transformation, and following the obtained corporate approvals, the merger procedure of the company Iskon Internet Inc. into Croatian Telecom Inc., as the the acquiring company, has been initiated. The targeted date for the merger to enter into force is 1 January 2024, whereby it is foreseen that Iskon Internet Inc. shall continue to operate as a separate brand within Croatian Telecom Inc.

Croatian Telecom and Liburana d.o.o., which is 100% owned by Professio Energia d.d. have concluded a Term Sheet for the first ever corporate renewable energy Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) in Croatia. The agreement is set to be for a 10-year period, pending signing of the contract. Upon the agreement, Liburana/Professio Energia d.d. will build a dedicated wind power plant ‘Mazin Gračac’, in Croatian Lika region, which shall produce electricity as renewable energy in volumes of 50 GWh yearly and which should start operations in last quarter of 2024.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Hrvatski Telekom signed a contract regarding the delivery of microwave transport technology that includes hardware, software and maintenance. This contract makes Ericsson Nikola Tesla in this segment an exclusive supplier to Hrvatski Telekom until the end of 2024. The signing of this contract is a continuation of Hrvatski Telekom's network modernization. After the recent start of 5G commercial operation in numerous cities in Croatia, this is a key step to introduce this technology also in rural areas and hardly accessible areas in the Republic of Croatia, including the islands.
