Croatian Telecom (Reuters: HT.ZA; Bloomberg: HT CZ), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, announces news related to changes in the Management Board. The Supervisory Board at its session today approved the new organizational structure of the Management Board of Croatian Telecom. Accordingly, the function of the Management Board Member for Corporate Affairs is introduced. As a result, the Management Board will as of 8 December 2022 be comprised out of seven, instead of the previous six members. Siniša Đuranović will take over the Management Board Member and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCO) role effective as of 8 December 2022, after last holding the leadership role of Senior Vice President and General Counsel.

Croatian Telecom (Reuters: HT.ZA; Bloomberg: HT CZ), Croatia’s leading telecommunications provider, notifies that Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) determined that Croatian Telecom fulfils all necessary conditions for participation in the public auction procedure. Consequently, Croatian Telecom qualified to participate in the public auction procedure at the national level for the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands.

Croatian Telecom and Liburana d.o.o., which is 100% owned by Professio Energia d.d. have concluded a Term Sheet for the first ever corporate renewable energy Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) in Croatia. The agreement is set to be for a 10-year period, pending signing of the contract. Upon the agreement, Liburana/Professio Energia d.d. will build a dedicated wind power plant ‘Mazin Gračac’, in Croatian Lika region, which shall produce electricity as renewable energy in volumes of 50 GWh yearly and which should start operations in last quarter of 2024.
